Iwaya Caves - Enoshima Island Japan
Located at the back of Enoshima Island, facing the sea, are the Iwaya Caves. To get to the caves there are a series of stairs that you need to climb to get to the top of the island and then walk down about 220 stairs to get to the caves. It really is quite a hike, but well worth it to see the caves and the beautiful sea views.
Enoshima Island
While you make your hike to the cave there are numerous coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and souvenir shops along the way.
