The "Take a Hike" Caledon Ladies Hiking Group was created to get women together for health, fitness, wellness, getting the community together and to introduce new people to Caledon to each other. All Hikes are a suggested donation of $3.00 which goes towards purchasing Stone Benches on the Trans Canada Trail and/or to help out people in our community.
This is a closed Facebook group and only members of the group are able to see and join the upcoming events.
PLEASE NOTE:
For privacy, safety, to avoid dismissal from the group and making this a fun experience there are a few rules we need to follow.
1) Ensure that your Facebook profile picture is of YOURSELF so that we know who is joining us on the hikes or events.
2) All upcoming hikes are posted on Eventbrite and in this facebook group page with the password provided there. Please read all the information before registering for a hike/event. Once you register we ask that you honour your commitment in attending the hike/event that you have registered for and if your plans change please cancel through EventBrite.
3) Under no circumstance should the time and dates of any upcoming events be posted anywhere else other then this group page. (We really don’t need the world to know when we have left our house)
4) Please be mindful of what you post and be respectful to others.
5) Promotions of events, information of business' other than ones related to the group will be removed or not approved.
6) Because some ladies may be allergic or scared of dogs there are no dogs allowed on the hikes.
All events are suited to ladies 16 to 99 so please do not ever think you can't do something .... We are all here to support each other, try new things, meet new ladies in our community, and have fun in the process :)
Looking forward to spending time with all of you!!!!
